This product consists of a barrel lock keyed security cable, plus an adhesive plate containing a Kensington lock slot. By attaching the plate to the back of your device, you can now secure it with the locking cable, thanks to the security slot. It's great for mobile devices and tablets such as iPads that don't have a Kensington security slot built into them. Once the security plate is attached to your device it can't be removed without damage, and by tethering the cable to a desk leg or other secure anchor point and locking it to the plate, your mobile device remains portable while being secure.
