The DynaScan DS653LT5 is a 65-inch professional high-brightness LCD. With a sunlight-viewable brightness rating of 4000 nits, this display features a local dimming direct LED backlight for incredible, high-contrast picture quality and low power consumption. LED Backlit with Local Dimming

The DS653LT5 utilizes a direct LED backlighting system with direct local dimming. Darker areas of an image receive less backlighting than lighter areas, as opposed to edge-lit LED backlights which illuminate an entire screen at all times causing blacks and dark areas to appear washed out.

Intelligent Thermal Management

Heat generated by the display is radiated away from high-temperature areas while a sensor continuously monitors the internal temperature to protect the system from overheating. This is accomplished with ultra-quiet fans.
