WyreStorm EXP-CON-AUD-H2 HDMI Audio Extractor which Supports resolutions of up to 2160p 4:4:4/60
The WyreStorm EXP-CON-AUD-H2 is a powerful plug and play 4K audio de-embed solution with full 18Gbps HDMI and HDCP 2.2 support. The EXP-CON-AUD-H2 allows digital or analog audio to be de-embedded from the source to be sent to an audio distribution system, such as an AVR or amplifier. Perfect for when the source de-embed isn’t available, all while passing video up to 4k@60Hz 4:4:4 to a display projection screens or video matrix.
Additionally, the EXP-CON-AUD-H2 has a 3 audio EDID settings, which aids in video distribution, bypassing the need for the source to be connected directly to the AVR/AMP over HDMI.
Audio DE-Embed
This is the bread and butter feature of the EXP-CON-AUD-H2. Perfect for de-embedding digital 5.1 surround or 2 channel analog from anywhere inline or from sources that aren’t equipped with a native audio breakout, such as Apple TV 4K, all-while passing video content to a matrix switch or display.
Audio EDID Selection
When multiple audio formats are needed in a system, the EXP-CON-AUD-H2 gives the user 3 audio EDID options to choose from; 5.1 surround, 2 channel analog or passthrough. This is perfect if multiple audio amplifiers or AVRs are in the system, allowing each audio system to receive a discrete EDID without affecting the source.
HDMI 2.0 Maxed Out
Sporting an 18Gbps HDMI input, the EXP-CON-AUD-H2 can support all UHD video signals up to and including 2160p 4:4:4/60, and high frame-rate HDR 12bit 4:2:2 up to 60Hz.
Compliant With HDCP 2.2
All of our 4K UHD extenders are compliant with the strict anti-piracy algorithms that prevent the unauthorized distribution of content, meaning a trouble-free installation.
