Please double-check the full size of the screen including any borders, casing/housing dimensions, etc. against the size of the space you wish to install it into, and allow for a degree of tolerance.
Please note that this screen does not have a tensioning system so therefore is not suitable or recommended for use with Short Throw or Ultra Short Throw Projectors with a Throw Ratio of 0.6:1 or under / lower.
The Giotto Home Cinema series is an electric in-ceiling screen that have been developed in order to offer the right solution to the most demanding Home Cinema installers. The concept of Giotto gives the installer the possibility to install the roller with a projection surface after the whole installation is finished. To do this, just open the trap door and fit in the roller with projection cloth. This feature gives the end-user the possibility to easily update the projection surface in order to stay current with the latest projection standards. Its mechanical construction makes it an ideal and unique solution for in-ceiling installations both in residential and AV professional environments. This model has black side borders 5cm wide and an extra black top drop of 30cm.
The standard fabric used on this screen is a Matte White fabric (with a gain of 1.2). Matte White is a PVC cloth for front projection with good gain and viewing angle. Thanks to its black rear side, it is a solution for rooms where artificial light interference behind the screen. It has good resistance to mechanical wear and tear and has a tested quality (no waves in big dimensions’ screen). If you require a different screen fabric please contact us for pricing and availability - please note that this may increase pricing and lead times, and that some specialised fabrics may not be available above a certain viewing size.
