ColorNavigator 7 Colour Management Software

A monitor needs to be calibrated at regular intervals to maintain colour accuracy. EIZO's proprietary ColorNavigator 7 software provides an intuitive and highly precise solution to colour management. It allows you to calibrate all colour modes simultaneously and supports a wide range of external sensors. Calibration information is saved to the monitor instead of the operating system so you do not have to recalibrate even when using a different PC.

Quick Colour Match Software

Even with all the right equipment, colour matching can be a tedious process - from monitor adjustment to determining the best retouch software and printer settings - achieving an accurate print takes a great deal of time. Quick Colour Match greatly simplifies the process by automatically adjusting to the ideal monitor, retouching software, and printer settings so you can focus on editing your photos and print your work quickly and hassle-free. Simply drag and drop your photo in the Quick Colour Match window to automatically start the process.

Vivid Colours Reproduced to Industry Standards

The monitor's wide colour gamut faithfully reproduces 99% of the Adobe RGB colour space so images shot in Adobe RGB will be displayed correctly. It also covers almost the entire ISO-coated and US web-coated CMYK colour spaces used in printing.

10-Bit Simultaneous Display

The monitor offers 10-bit simultaneous display* from a 16-bit look-up-table (LUT) which means it can show more than one billion colours simultaneously. This is 64 times more colours than you get with 8-bit display, resulting in smooth colour gradations and reduced Delta-E between two adjacent colours.

*A graphics board and software which support 10-bit output are also necessary for 10-bit display. Equipment that supports DeepColor is required for 10-bit display when connected via HDMI®.

Adjusted at the Factory for Smooth Colour Gradations

The gamma level for each ColorEdge monitor is adjusted at the factory by measuring the R, G, and B gamma values from 0 - 1023. The monitor's 16-bit LUT is then used to select the 1024 most appropriate tones and achieve the desired value. This ensures the smoothest colour gradations in your images.

Uniformity Across the Screen

LCD monitors commonly exhibit fluctuations in brightness and chromaticity across the screen, affecting colour accuracy. To counter this, ColorEdge monitors are equipped with EIZO's patented digital uniformity equalizer (DUE) technology which corrects deviations in every tone across the screen to ensure stable display.

Verified Accuracy with Factory Report

Included in the box of every ColorEdge CS2400S is a Factory Report which shows the measurement results of the monitor at the time of production. The report includes uniformity, gamma, gamut coverage, and colour temperature measurements which verify every unit's accuracy.

Sleek Cabinet Design

The outer design features a sleek cabinet with rounded edges and a non-intrusive stand base to allow the monitor to fit comfortably in any creative environment. A carrying handle on the back allows you to easily move it to other locations. USB ports are easily accessible from the side for connecting USB devices.

Optional Light-Shielding Hood

An optional light-shielding hood is available that effectively prevents glare on the monitor's screen caused by ambient lighting. The hood attaches to the monitor magnetically, allowing users to setup quickly and easily without needing to connect separate parts.

Ergonomic Stand

Adjust the screen to the most comfortable angle and reposition it to show your work to others. The monitor comes with a versatile stand that offers height, tilt, and swivel adjustments. The stand is also equipped with a quick release that allows you to easily remove the screen from the stand with a single touch.

Cushioning Environmental Impact

The CS2400S is the first in the ColorEdge lineup to transition away from using plastic and styrofoam in the monitor's packaging to reduce environmental impact. The monitor is safely packed using moulded pulp, which is made from recycled cardboard and newspaper, and cables are contained in a cardboard structure instead of wrapped in plastic bags.
