VISION Techconnect3 TC3-CTL/2 Control Module with Scheduled commands for signage applications
The Techconnect Control puts the end user at the centre of AV system design. It is what control should be for end users: simple. It has eight simple buttons that are each highly programmable.
Pressing the "ON" button can simultaneously send activation commands through IR, RS-232, or a 12v trigger to multiple devices. It eliminates complexity by displaying only everyday functions to users, reducing the need for technical support calls and preventing the loss of remote controls.
All of this is conveniently housed within a secure Techconnect module, making it an ideal solution for presentation rooms or meeting spaces.
Modes
Activate learning mode by holding down buttons 3 and 4. In this mode, you can teach the device a single IR code for each button, all without requiring a computer (not possible for Epson projectors). For advanced programming, connect to a PC and use software to assign RS-232, IR, and 12v trigger functions to each individual button.
Digital Signage Shutoff
An onboard clock allows you to create schedules. For instance, trigger the automatic shutdown of digital signage in a store every night.
Cloud Software
New browser-based programming software uses the same simple approach, but adds many features. Configuration files are stored by default in the cloud and cached in your browser, allowing easy sharing with colleagues for collaborative work. Local storage of configuration files is also supported.
Pronto Compatible
You can import pronto formatted IR codes.
Crowd-Sourcing
If an AV installer adds new working codes to the software library, they become available to all users.
IR Learning
IR codes can be added using the original remote pointed at the back of the module, or by copying and pasting the code directly into the software.
2 x IR Emitters
On the rear of the module are two IR ports. Two external IR emitters are included: one with a 10 m cable and one with a 200 mm cable that can be extended using a standard minijack cable. Note: projection screens supplied with RF remotes are not supported.
2 x RS-232
The rear of the module features two RS-232 ports. It includes adaptor cables for connecting to RS-232 devices.
This device only sends codes and does not read them.
12v Trigger
For activating relay devices with a 12v (2.4 W) trigger voltage, such as motorised projection screens.
Multi-Action Buttons
Each button can transmit multiple codes of different types, enabling a single button press to control multiple AV devices simultaneously.
Delay Commands
Send all assigned codes at once or apply delays to individual commands for precise control.
Simultaneous / Sequential / Repeat
Choose how commands are sent: simultaneous, sequential (ideal for input toggling), or repeat (perfect for volume control).
Backlit Beeping Buttons
Select red, green, or blue backlighting for individual buttons. Optional audible feedback can also be enabled.
Pre-labelled
The buttons come pre-labelled for fast and easy installation.
